Sexual health clinics in France
We list France's free public sexual health centres (CeGIDD), run by hospitals, départements or the city, and LGBTQ+ community sexual health centres. They say screening, and often treatment, PrEP and PEP, is free, can be anonymous and does not depend on having French health cover. None of the sources mentions short-term visitors from abroad specifically.

- PEP in this country
PEP is called TPE (traitement post-exposition) in France, and every source here works to 48 hours. Lyon's university hospitals say to start within 24 hours, 48 at most, and that it lasts one month; the public service in Nice and AIDES in Marseille also give 48 hours. During opening hours go to a free sexual health centre (CeGIDD) or a hospital infectious diseases service; outside them a hospital emergency department (urgences) can prescribe it. In Lyon the CeGIDD then reviews you within 24 to 48 hours. In Marseille, Le Spot Longchamp and the département's CeGIDD offer TPE. Checkpoint Paris takes TPE walk-ins in opening hours.

The free sexual health centres (CeGIDD) charge nothing. Lyon's hospitals say CeGIDD screening is free whatever your health cover, and you choose whether to be anonymous. The Alpes-Maritimes département says consultations and care in Nice are free without health cover, anonymous under a code except for vaccination and contraception. Bouches-du-Rhône says consultations at its Marseille CeGIDD are free, anonymous or not. The City of Paris says its centres are open to everyone and CeGIDD screening costs nothing, and Checkpoint Paris says its care is free for people without French health cover. None of them mentions visitors from abroad.
