Privacy
Two-minute read. Short version: no account, no cookies, and we don’t store what you search or where you are.
What stays on your device
- Your location. “Near me” asks your browser for your position and uses it on your device to sort results. It is never sent to our servers.
- Your filters and saved clinics. Stored in your browser (session and local storage) so the site remembers them. Clearing site data removes them.
- Saved pages for offline use. When you tap Save, that clinic page is stored in your browser’s cache.
What leaves your device
- Page requests. Like any website, our host (Vercel) sees the pages you load and your IP address in standard server logs. We don’t put clinic names, needs or locations in web addresses beyond the city and clinic page you open.
- Map tiles. The interactive map loads tiles from OpenFreeMap (with CARTO as a fallback). Those services see the tile requests, which reveal the area you’re looking at, but nothing about you.
- Directions. “Directions” opens Google Maps or Apple Maps with the clinic’s coordinates; their privacy policies apply from there.
- Reports and suggestions. What you type is sent to us and stored as a private issue in our editorial system. Email is optional and never published. We don’t attach your location or IP to it.
Analytics
None, unless we enable cookieless page counts (no cookies, no personal data, no cross-site tracking). If we do, this page will say so.
Leaving quickly
The Leave this site button (or pressing Shift three times) replaces this page with a weather site. Your browser may still keep a history entry; clear it if you need to.
