This clinic doesn’t advertise itself as LGBTQ+ friendly. Most clinics don’t, so this isn’t a sign that it’s unwelcoming. If you’ve been, tell us how you were treated.

United States: good to know

  • PEP in this country. San Francisco AIDS Foundation (Magnet at Strut) asks you to call 415-581-1600 before coming for PEP so they can make sure you are seen; if they cannot, they refer you to another clinic. When clinics are closed, they say to go to an emergency room right away. PEP must start within 72 hours.

Emergency number: 911
