About
The county's own sexual health clinic, open every weekday, covering HIV and STI testing and treatment as well as PrEP and PEP, with services given regardless of ability to pay.
This clinic doesn’t advertise itself as LGBTQ+ friendly. Most clinics don’t, so this isn’t a sign that it’s unwelcoming. If you’ve been, tell us how you were treated.

United States: good to know
- What visitors pay. Sacramento County's Sexual Health Clinic on Broadway says services are provided regardless of ability to pay, and it covers HIV and STI testing, treatment, PrEP and PEP in one place. One Community Health, the city's long-standing HIV clinic, says the same about background and ability to pay. Neither publishes prices.
- PEP in this country. The county's own sexual health clinic lists PrEP and PEP among its services in weekday hours. PEP has to start within 72 hours of exposure, so outside those hours a hospital emergency department is the route.
