United Kingdom: good to know
- What visitors pay. In England, NHS services for diagnosing and treating sexually transmitted infections, and A&E (emergency) care, are free to all overseas visitors. Leeds Sexual Health says all its services are free.
- PEP in this country. Leeds Sexual Health says you can get PEP by calling it on 0113 843 4495 (Monday to Friday 08:30-16:30); when it is closed, the emergency departments at St James's Hospital (Beckett Street, LS9 7TF) or Leeds General Infirmary (Jubilee Wing, Calverley Street, LS1 3EX) provide it. Start within 24 hours and no later than 72 hours after the exposure.
