Turkey: good to know

  • What visitors pay. Red Ribbon Istanbul says Türkiye has no HIV-related entry restrictions and no testing on entry, that most antiretroviral medicines are available in the country, and that people without Turkish social security must pay for HIV-related hospital care and medicines themselves. It advises bringing enough medication for your whole stay.

Emergency number: 112
