Sweden: good to know
- What visitors pay. Sweden's national health service site 1177 says you never pay to be tested for the infections covered by the Communicable Diseases Act (chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, HIV and hepatitis B), and that all treatment for those infections is free. Malmö's public sexual health centre says most of its visits are free. Neither page says whether a tourist without EU cover pays a visitor fee, so ask when you book.
