Sexual health clinics in Sweden
Listings in Sweden are in Stockholm: two public sexual health clinics and a walk-in rapid HIV test run by the national LGBTQI organisation. The national health service site says testing for the main STIs is always free, and both public clinics say they see people without a Swedish personal identity number. Whether a tourist without EU cover pays a visitor fee is not stated.

Good to know in Sweden
- What visitors pay
Sweden's national health service site 1177 says you never pay to be tested for the infections covered by the Communicable Diseases Act: chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, HIV and hepatitis B. In Stockholm, the public sexual health clinic and Venhälsan both say they can see people who do not have a Swedish personal identity number. Neither says whether a tourist without EU cover pays a visitor fee, so ask first.
