Spain: good to know

  • PEP in this country. Spain's Ministry of Health says that if fewer than 72 hours have passed since a possible HIV exposure you should go to a hospital emergency department (urgencias) — ideally within the first 6 hours — where the risk is assessed and a 28-day course of PEP (PPE) can be started.

Emergency number: 112
