Portugal: good to know

  • PEP in this country. In Portugal PEP (PPE) is only available at the emergency department (urgência) of a public hospital — community centres and family doctors cannot prescribe it. It can be started up to 72 hours after the risk, the sooner the better, and is taken for four weeks.

Emergency number: 112
