About
Mexico City's public HIV and STI clinic and the place most locals will send you, reported to offer free tests, PEP and PrEP; phone before you go to check services.
This clinic doesn’t advertise itself as LGBTQ+ friendly. Most clinics don’t, so this isn’t a sign that it’s unwelcoming. If you’ve been, tell us how you were treated.

Mexico: good to know
- PEP in this country. AHF México says PEP must start within 72 hours of the exposure and that, after unprotected sex, you can go to any IMSS hospital or clinic, which must provide PEP as a free service whether or not you are insured with IMSS. The page does not say that AHF's own centres supply PEP. If you are a foreign visitor, ask on arrival how this applies to you.Community-endorsed AHF México· 19 Sep 2026
