Turin's infectious diseases hospital does a free, anonymous HIV blood test with no prescription and no booking every weekday morning, with the result the same day if you arrive before 10:45.

  • PEP in this country. Italy works to a 48-hour window for PEP. In Turin the public multidisciplinary sexual health centre Ce.Mu.S.S. lists post-exposure prophylaxis among its free services, reached after a telephone triage on weekday mornings; outside those hours go to a hospital emergency department (Pronto Soccorso).
