France: good to know

  • What visitors pay. The university hospital says its free sexual health centre (CeGIDD) at Hôpital La Grave is open to everyone, including people without French health cover, and that its services are free and can be anonymous or in your name. It does not mention visitors from abroad specifically.
  • PEP in this country. PEP is called TPE (traitement post-exposition) in France. The CHU de Toulouse lists TPE among the CeGIDD's services at Hôpital La Grave during its opening hours (late opening on Tuesdays). Outside those hours, go to a hospital emergency department (urgences).
