  • PEP in this country. In France PEP is called TPE (traitement post-exposition). Lyon's university hospitals say to start it within 24 hours, 48 hours at most, and that it lasts one month. During opening hours go to the CeGIDD at Hôpital Edouard Herriot or Hôpital de la Croix-Rousse, or to the infectious diseases service at Croix-Rousse; outside those hours a hospital emergency department (urgences) can prescribe it, and the CeGIDD reviews you within 24 to 48 hours.
  • What visitors pay. The Hospices Civils de Lyon say that screening at their CeGIDD (free sexual health centre) is free and does not depend on having health cover, and that you can choose whether or not to be anonymous.
