About

Lille's free sexual health centre behind the Institut Pasteur takes walk-ins every weekday morning and afternoon for free HIV, hepatitis and STI screening and treatment, PrEP and PEP, with a chemsex consultation on site.

This clinic doesn’t advertise itself as LGBTQ+ friendly. Most clinics don’t, so this isn’t a sign that it’s unwelcoming. If you’ve been, tell us how you were treated.

France: good to know

  • PEP in this country. PEP is called TPE (traitement post-exposition) in France. The Sida Info Service listing for the Lille sexual health centre (CeGIDD, rue Camille Guérin) says it assesses, prescribes and follows up TPE, and that the walk-in service has no last-entry cut-off for an emergency. Outside its hours, go to a hospital emergency department (urgences).
  • What visitors pay. The listing for the Lille CeGIDD says HIV, hepatitis and STI screening and STI treatments are free there, and that the phone line is confidential and anonymous. Ask what a visitor from abroad pays elsewhere.

Emergency number: 112
