Dominican Republic: good to know
- What visitors pay. AHF República Dominicana says all of its services in Santo Domingo are free: assessment and diagnosis by rapid test or by looking at your symptoms, for gonorrhoea, chlamydia, syphilis, herpes, vaginal infections, HIV and hepatitis, and treatment for HIV and for sexually transmitted infections. AHF describes the clinic as caring for migrants as well as local people, but neither page says whether short-term visitors are included, so ask. From AHF República Dominicana’s website· 22 Sep 2026
