Expect to pay at a private one.Published by Hospital Clínico San Borja Arriarán· 19 Sep 2026
- PEP in this country. AHF Chile explains (July 2026) that free PEP in the emergency department of any public hospital is a right only after sexual violence. After consensual sex the route is private: see a doctor, ideally an infectious diseases specialist, get a prescription and buy the 28-day course at a pharmacy, at roughly 80,000 Chilean pesos plus the consultation fee.
