About

The Federal District's public testing centre on W3 Sul takes people without an appointment for HIV, syphilis and hepatitis B and C tests with results in 20 to 60 minutes, and gives access to PEP.

This clinic doesn’t advertise itself as LGBTQ+ friendly. Most clinics don’t, so this isn’t a sign that it’s unwelcoming. If you’ve been, tell us how you were treated.

Brazil's Ministry of Health says a foreign tourist with a health problem can also seek care in the urgent-care network of the public health system (SUS), including SAMU ambulances on 192 and 24-hour UPA units, and that these services are free. The page does not list any documents a tourist must show.
  • PEP in this country. The Ministry of Health says PEP is offered free of charge by the SUS, must start within 72 hours of the exposure and is taken for 28 days.
