Australia: good to know
- PEP in this country. The Northern Territory AIDS and Hepatitis Council says PEP is available 24/7 from hospital emergency departments, from Clinic 34 and from some sexual health clinics, and must start within 72 hours. getpep.info lists Clinic 34 Darwin and the Royal Darwin Hospital emergency department.
- What visitors pay. The NT Government says Clinic 34 needs no Medicare card, so anyone can use it for free, and that its STI and HIV testing and treatment, HIV care, PEP and PrEP, condoms and eligible vaccines are free.
