Vietnam: good to know

  • PEP in this country. UNAIDS Viet Nam says PEP must start within 72 hours. Through public channels it is for occupational exposure and certain regulated non-occupational situations, via the infectious diseases department of a provincial hospital; otherwise it names private clinics, such as the Family Medical Practice clinics in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City, for people who can pay. The page is undated and gives no prices.

Emergency number: 115
