Where To Test

Sexual health clinics in Taiwan

Listings in Taiwan are in Taipei: a city-run gay health centre offering free, anonymous HIV and syphilis screening by appointment, and an LGBTQ+ organisation that runs evening rapid tests without asking for a name or ID. The official pages state no nationality restriction but do not say whether free testing includes foreign visitors. Ask about PEP and treatment costs when you book.

In Taipei, the city's official FAQ lists free anonymous HIV screening by appointment at the Kunming Prevention and Control Center (100 Kunming Street), including a gay health centre on the 5th floor that also screens for syphilis. It does not say whether this includes foreign visitors. The centre points to the toll-free Taiwan CDC line, 1922, for PrEP and HIV questions. Kaohsiung has its own listings; see the city page.
