South Korea: good to know

  • What visitors pay. KHAP, the government-funded HIV prevention centre for foreigners, says PrEP in Korea is prescribed at designated hospitals and is subsidised only for people enrolled in National Health Insurance; without insurance it costs roughly 400,000 won a month, plus the hospital's test fees.

Emergency number: 119
