Sexual health clinics in Slovakia
Testing in Slovakia is done through free, anonymous points rather than sexual health clinics. In Bratislava we list the community HIV Checkpoint, which also screens for hepatitis B and C and syphilis on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and the national HIV reference centre at the Slovak Medical University, open on Monday mornings. Neither asks for an appointment. Where a visitor gets PEP, or treatment for symptoms, is not published.

- What visitors pay
Testing at the community checkpoint and at the national reference centre is free, and neither asks for insurance. The national list also names private laboratories that test for a fee, by appointment, on weekday mornings. What someone without Slovak health insurance pays for a consultation, for treatment of an infection, or for PEP is not published anywhere we could read, so ask the price before you are treated.
Community-endorsed HIV & AIDS Slovensko· 22 Sep 2026- Testing
Free, anonymous HIV testing is offered at several points across Slovakia, and none of the ones we list asks for an appointment. The community HIV Checkpoint in Bratislava, run by the association Dom svetla Slovensko, screens for HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C and syphilis on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (Thursdays only over the summer) and identifies you by a code from an online questionnaire rather than by name. The National Reference Centre for HIV/AIDS Prevention at the Slovak Medical University tests on Monday mornings, under a code if you ask.
