We list the national infectious diseases service at the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg, which the Ministry of Health names for PEP 24 hours a day and for an anonymous, free HIV test without appointment or prescription, and the Red Cross HIV Berodung, which does free, anonymous rapid tests on set evenings. Tests under your name are paid according to your health fund; no official source says what visitors pay.

The Ministry of Health says that after a situation with a high risk of HIV transmission less than 72 hours ago, PEP is possible: go immediately, and at the latest within 72 hours, to the Service National des Maladies Infectieuses at the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg, care unit U20 on the 2nd floor, 4 rue Ernest Barblé, Luxembourg City, phone +352 4411 3091 or +352 4411 2730, 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. It does not say what PEP costs someone without Luxembourg health cover.

The Ministry of Health says only anonymous HIV tests are free. The CHL infectious diseases service offers the HIV test anonymously (free) or under your name (paid according to your health fund), and its tests for other STIs are under your name and paid. The Red Cross HIV Berodung's rapid tests for HIV, syphilis and hepatitis C are free and anonymous.

The Ministry of Health lists the CHL's infectious diseases unit for an HIV test without prior appointment or prescription, and the Red Cross HIV Berodung for free, anonymous rapid HIV, syphilis and hepatitis C tests with no appointment on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 94 boulevard du Général Patton and on Thursday lunchtimes at the Cigale LGBTIQ+ centre, 16 rue Notre-Dame. A Red Cross mobile unit (DIMPS) tests at changing locations on a published schedule.
