Can I go now?

Contact the clinic to arrange a visit

The STD and VCT clinics may not run at every session; phone to ask when a counsellor is there.

Can a visitor use it?

Check with the clinic before you go — Indonesian health centres serve their own district first; nothing published says whether a foreign visitor can be seen, so telephone first.

About

One of the few Surabaya health centres whose published clinic list includes both an STD clinic and voluntary HIV counselling and testing, in the Sawahan district west of the centre.

This clinic doesn’t advertise itself as LGBTQ+ friendly. Most clinics don’t, so this isn’t a sign that it’s unwelcoming. If you’ve been, tell us how you were treated.

Services
