Greece: good to know

  • PEP in this country. Checkpoint says PEP is given free of charge in Greece, must start within 72 hours of the exposure at the latest, and can only be prescribed by a specialist doctor — usually an internal medicine or infectious diseases specialist — at a hospital with a special infections unit. It advises calling the EODY helpline on 210 7222222 to find the right hospital. From an island, call that line first.
