Testing

The Croatian Institute of Public Health says that at the HIV counselling and testing centres anyone can be tested for HIV anonymously and free of charge and get individual advice; no referral is needed. Its own Zagreb centre adds a urine panel for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, trichomonas, ureaplasma and mycoplasma. The centres in Split and Dubrovnik test for HIV, hepatitis B and C and syphilis; Dubrovnik tests adults only and asks nobody's name. In Zagreb, Iskorak (for gay and bi men, other MSM and trans people) and HUHIV's CheckPoint do free rapid tests on weekday afternoons with no booking or documents.
