Canada: good to know

  • What visitors pay. The City of Toronto says its sexual health clinics are free and confidential and can be used without a referral or an Ontario health card (OHIP).
  • PEP in this country. Toronto Public Health's own sexual health clinics do not offer HIV PEP or PrEP; the City's list names Hassle Free Clinic as offering both. HQ Toronto also offers PEP and advises going to an emergency room if you cannot reach a provider quickly. PEP must start within 72 hours.

Emergency number: 911
